Duke’s Blues & BBQ is hands down our go-to BBQ spot! We’ve done it all — dined at the Caboose, grabbed it to-go, and even had them cater — and they never disappoint. The food is consistently AMAZING, but what really sets Duke’s apart is the people. The service is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely top-notch. Everything is packed with flavor, portions are generous, and you can tell there is so much pride that goes into what they do. Whether we’re stopping in for a casual meal, grabbing dinner for the family, or feeding a crowd through catering, Duke’s always delivers. And beyond the incredible food, we really appreciate how much Duke’s gives back to the community. Their philanthropy and willingness to support local organizations, families, events, and causes says so much about the kind of business they are. It’s one thing to serve great BBQ — it’s another to consistently show up for the community around you. That deserves to be recognized and supported. We absolutely love supporting this local gem. Dukes BBQ was on the agenda for lunch today. It’s not the first time and this review should have been done long ago. Great tender Brisket, baked beans, and chips. My coworkers had some lemon pepper wings which they shared with me. The chicken slid off the bone..delicious! It’s a must stop if in the Dundee area!

We were craving some good BBQ and found Duke’s in East Dundee on Google—and wow, it totally lives up to the hype! The pulled pork, brisket, and quarter chicken were all fantastic. The sides were all scrumptious, especially the baked beans. We honestly thought about going back the next day for more. The atmosphere is incredible—so welcoming and full of good energy. The staff seem genuinely happy and it’s impossible not to leave in a better mood. Highly recommend checking them out!

The Perfect Pit Stop ​The Food: Smoked sausage with tasty BBQ sauce and chips. Great protein for a long ride and very budget-friendly. ​The Vibe: Outdoor seating with no shade. ​Pro Tip: Perfect for a breezy day, but in the peak of summer, plan to take your food to a shaded spot nearby.

Just as another recent post mentioned, we added this to our places to go based on a food review guy on Instagram. Not what we expected. Good number of the items on the menu were crossed off. The lady who took our order was friendly but probably had a few too many sodas-reason for the service rating. We ordered the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, a link, mac and cheese and baked beans. Brisket-outstanding, link- very good but had a consistency of a hot dog, pulled pork was a bit chewy, mac and cheese looked microwaved and was bland, beans were very good. See pictures. Good but, based on our experience, not worth a special trip. Would probably eat again if nothing else was available.
